How to Easily Copy a File

A simple and quick way to copy a file is by dragging it.

  1. If you're on a PC, hold down the "Control" key, then click and drag the file.

  2. If you're on a Mac, hold down the "Alt" key, then click and drag the file.

  3. Release the mouse to place the file in your chosen location.

  4. Presto! You have a duplicate file. 



Both of these will make a copy that you can drop anywhere by releasing your mouse button.
