Issues Skyping someone outside of CCI

Problem

When I try to use Skype for Business to video conference someone from outside of CCI, I experience technical difficulties.

Solution

Option 1: Use a different video conferencing platform

Skype for Business can sometimes pose issues for connecting with people outside of CCI or OCA.  Visit this article to learn more about options for video conferencing people outside of CCI:  Selecting from Skype, Zoom, Google Meet or Turbobridge

Option 2: Add an external user to Skype

1.Click "People with plus" button in your Skype for business:

2. Select → "Add a contact not in my organization" → "Skype" 

Open

3. Search for the contact outside of Skype via their e-mail or Skype username
